When shooting kids’ birthday parties, Sophie and I use the same fun and candid approach as we do with our portrait photography. We don’t think a baby’s first birthday should be photographed the same way as your uncle’s retirement party. So we use funky angles, fisheye lens, and finger puppets for instant tickle action.
