YOUR MATERNITY PHOTO SESSION
There is no greater honor as a photographer than capturing life’s most cherished memories. We love to capture the curves of pregnancy and tender emotions of this special time. These are your first moments of motherhood, and we’re excited to preserve these moments as beautiful works of art.

Motherhood is such a special time in a woman’s life, and it deserves to be documented as beautiful works of art. Our signature style is classic and timeless. We offer customized maternity sessions to create fine art portraits that will be cherished for generations.
SCHEDULING
Maternity portraits are ideally captured around 30-34 weeks, while your belly shape is blossoming and you’re feeling comfortable for a variety of poses. Of course we’ve had clients schedule up to 40 weeks, but please understand that certain poses are not safe in the final weeks of pregnancy. We recommend booking your maternity session as early as possible, since our calendar gets filled quickly. We only offer a limited number of commissions each month to ensure our high quality of work.
what to expect
A maternity session is more than a photoshoot. It’s a day of well-deserved pampering. You’ll feel gorgeous and empowered, while documenting one of the most incredible times in your life. The session experience is comfortable and relaxed.
Our maternity sessions include complimentary hair styling and professional makeup with our glam artist. We understand that some clients prefer to have their hair and/or makeup done beforehand. This is perfectly fine, and allows additional time during your session to capture a larger variety of concepts. Our glam artist will remain on set for touch-ups, assisting with silks and styles to ensure an enjoyable experience.
With 10 years of experience, we use our expertise in posing and artistic lighting to accentuate your curves. Classic studio backdrops and our extensive collection of wardrobe styles offer endless creative possibilities. Rest assured that we will customize posing and lighting, and our natural post-processing includes tasteful smoothing of skin and body contours to make sure you look your best. We appreciate your requests, and will do our best to meet and exceed your expectations!

Our Midtown Manhattan Photo Studio is conveniently located to PENN Station, PATH train, major subway lines, as well as the Lincoln & Midtown Tunnels. There is a parking lot next door and elevator access to make your commute as easy as possible.

Our cozy and modern boutique photography studio allows us to offer a relaxed and enjoyable session experience, while delivering portraits of the highest quality. We use a combination of classic backdrops and artistic lighting to make your vision into a reality. Snacks and drinks are provided during your shoot. We encourage you to relax and make yourself at home!
PARKING
We recommend planning your commute in advance and checking traffic conditions beforehand to arrive punctually for your shoot. Please understand that sessions will not be extended due to lateness.
HAIR & MAKE-UP
To look your best, you need to feel your best. Our maternity sessions include complimentary light hair styling, professional makeup and/or touch-ups. Please arrive with your hair dry and face bare if you'd like our glam artist to work her magic. Strip lashes are available if you’d prefer a more dramatic look. We're happy to add soft waves for volume, or style an updo for an elegant look. If you wear hair extensions, please be sure to have them applied beforehand. We strongly recommend avoiding greasy lotions and creams on the day of your session. Natural, nude or French tip manicure is ideal to maintain focus on your gorgeous curves of pregnancy.

Our classic backdrop colors allow us to capture timeless portraits to be enjoyed for generations. We will use different lighting set-ups to capture a lovely variety of ethereal concepts and dramatic silhouettes. All skin tones photograph beautifully with our carefully curated backdrops.

WHAT TO
BRING?
The main item to wear for your session is a flattering set of nude thong underwear and strapless bra for coverage and support beneath styles. A set of black underwear and bra is lovely for sultry concepts on the darker backdrop. Lacy textures photograph beautifully. A pair of unbuttoned jeans, blazer, jean jacket, bodysuit, gown, traditional attire, scarf, fur, accent jewelry, wide-brimmed hat and/or fedora is perfect if you'd like to incorporate your own styles.
wardrobe
We offer a wardrobe of fitted maternity gowns, lace robes, crop tops and bodysuits to accentuate your curves. You can view samples featured in the PORTFOLIO. We also offer a collection of silks in a variety of muted tones and bright colors for endless creative possibilities.
SMALL PETS
If you have your heart set on capturing a few portraits together with your fur baby, we do allow small dogs if they stay in a carrier while not on set. We recommend having your partner join later in the shoot, so your dog will not get antsy in our cozy studio space. Please also be sure to bring along some favorite treats to use as bribery.
COUPLES PORTRAITS
We encourage partners to join for some intimate couples portraits. While some may prefer formal attire, most partners wear jeans with a fitted black shirt or white shirt. We love to capture some classic poses together to celebrate this special time in your lives!
AFTER THE SESSION
Within one week of your session, we will share an online proofing gallery for your review. Please understand that RAW unedited images are not at all a finished product, so they may not be downloaded or shared anywhere. Once you've selected your favorites, we will hand edit each image in our signature style for your downloadable portrait gallery.
ADDITIONAL DIGITAL PORTRAITS
Sessions include a select number of edited portraits. However, you're welcome to purchase additional portraits for editing. Please review pricing details below:
1 digital portrait - $100
5 digital portraits - $400
10 digital portraits - $700
20 digital portraits - $1200
post-processing
Rest assured that we will adjust white balance, extend the backdrops, remove distractions, tastefully minimize skin blemishes, and smooth body contours to make sure you look your best. Digital portraits will each be presented in color and black & white to be downloaded in high resolution for your personal archives. We do not accept custom retouching requests. For clients interested in more extensive retouching, we are happy to recommend a professional retouching service such as retouchup.com. Please view samples of our natural enhancements in the Before & After Gallery for reference.
your privacy
As professional photographers, please understand that our business is reliant on sharing recent samples of our work with potential clients. If you would prefer that we do not share nude or breastfeeding images, please include a written note with your reservation. If you wish to keep private ALL of the images from your Session, we offer a Privacy Add-On that may be purchased prior to your session.
KEEPSAKE ALBUMS
Our award-winning Keepsake Albums feature polished aluminum covers and panoramic pages. The perfect way to display your most intimate memories, and you can view samples in our studio on the day of your shoot.
