Even though we have a lovely Photography Studio, we love to capture teeny tiny newborns in the comfort of their home. It’s so fun to a photograph brand new babies in the nursery that was so lovingly prepared for them. We also enjoy capturing intimate family interactions, cuddles, and kisses galore in the master bedroom or living room area. These are the areas of your home that are filled with love and joy, and they allow you to feel comfortable for authentic interactions during our newborn photography sessions. Newborns change and grow so quickly, and that teeny tiny phase will be gone before you know it. You’ll never get this time back, and newborn photography is a wonderful way to preserve these fleeting moments as breathtaking works of art that will be cherished for a lifetime. We recommend capturing newborn photography in the first ten days, while your baby is sleeping deeply and curling up naturally into those precious poses. After two weeks, newborns have a growth spurt and most of the session is spent feeding rather than photographing. They’re also a lot more alert and tend to sleep less deeply, which makes posing far more challenging.
