A sunset on a beach. Need we say more? As we diversify our portfolio, and expand on the locations where we shoot children, Sophie (my wife, assistant, and the person behind Michael Kormos Baby Photography) had the great idea of taking some kids out to a beach. I concurred (happily). About two weeks in the making, this shoot was a shoot that… well… almost never was. On the day of the shoot, just a few hours before the scheduled meet-up with all the parents, weather.com suddenly reported severe T-storms headed for the NYC area! But what do you know, the rain left as quickly as it came, and left us with some lovely sunset light (about two hours worth of shooting). We had tutus, sand, and a chest from World War I, not to mention lovely young models that performed superbly! We all had a great time while the kids played, spun, and ultimately got dirty in the wet sand, and we were happy to capture it all. Special thanks to Megan for her help in putting this together!
