We’ve been on a roll with some fabulous senior sessions this Fall. The soft light at golden hour and bright autumn colors made for some incredible moments. What we love the most is seeing how each senior adds their own style and individuality to their graduation portraits.
A location with meaning
As experienced NYC family photographers who have spent years capturing milestones, we were delighted to celebrate Lisa’s accomplishment with a graduation session. Lisa is an accomplished dancer and decided to use Lincoln Center as the backdrop for her achievements. Given the classic architecture in the background, we sought to encompass all aspects of her elegance as a performer through some of her favorite poses. We strive to capture images that are authentic, beautiful, and true to our seniors on their own special journey to adulthood.

We then continued her session at Fordham University, where she graduated from college with her Bachelors of Arts. The campus offered many classic settings for Lisa’s portraits that will seem familiar in the future with a splash of nostalgia. We incorporated her cap and gown, as well as her sash as a personal touch. We then went to Bethesda Terrace in the heart of Central Park for some final portraits around the beautiful arches, staircases and fountains. As usual, we featured a blend of posed and lifestyle events. In addition to stunning wall art, we want clients to have a Keepsake Album to display their portraits that tells a true story of this thrilling milestone.
Senior portraits don’t just represent the closure of high school or college; they will symbolize Lisa’s hard work, dedication, progress and bright future. We’re excited to see all that she will accomplish in the near and distant future. We are so thankful we got to capture this important time as beautiful art!
